In anticipation of doubling traffic growth by 2005, our client is adding a key senior systems engineer to plan for the future.  You will mentor a junior systems administrator for their 2 US locations and the UK.  My client has the latest tools in place for you to set up benchmarks for platforms to perform stress testing.  Currently, the co-locations are comprised of 40+ Linux servers both in-house and with AT&T. Of critical importance will be to plan an additional co-location to "go live" in 6 months to a year.  One of your major challenges will be ensuring proper integration to the major carriers with their unique requirements.  This is your chance to apply your Linux systems engineering talents to the 3G market, which is exciting to watch!

QUALIFICATIONS:  

·	Must have solid experience (4+ years) with Linux
·	Must have wireless experience or mobile solutions platform experience
·	Helpful if you've had Web Farm experience with stress testing for  increased wireless traffic
·	Must be able to mentor a junior systems person
·	Must enjoy a team environment
·	Must be able to navigate changes that characterize a small but growing company.

Salary Range:  $70-80K
