RE: Linux Training
I teach the courses on Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Security, and System
Administration for the Centers for Education and Technology (linked by
Jack below). The list of my courses may be found on my web site
(http://www.ITeachPHP.com).
In the Spring semester the Linux classes are on Friday nights, 5:30-9:00.
I don't know what is planned for the summer.
As Jack pointed out, the classes are free. There is no homework, required
textbooks, etc. But we do have modern equipment, software and topics and
good instructors. For all of the classes other than the ones taught at
the Datel classroom there is no preregistration--you register in class on
your first day. You may join an ongoing class. For example, this Friday
is the second class in our Apache series.
Next week is Spring break for our school. After the Apache class, I will
teach a course on Linux Security. That will be followed by a new class
on Linux System Administration.
