I found the connection much higher when I actually went to the pages
returned in the search results. Which is how I got the definition to
begin with just to back up my statement.

Neither google search results nor the Internet itself should be taken as
the last or even most accurate word on anything - even computer related
topics.

I have. From co-workers who programmed in it everyday. Another source of
authority which I would trust more than a "Quick google search" would be
SQL programming books. Next time I'm in SDTB, I'll have a look-see, just
to satify my own curiosity.
