Dear Bill:
To be honest, I unzipped IC3 last week but haven't ventured into
actually installing it on my system. The only fix I know of in these
situations is to remove the offending program(s), re-install Windows 95
if necessary, then banish whatever gave me problems in the first place
to a shallow grave (a 3.5 floppy). Then again, maybe someone has a
legit. cure for this problem.
I personally can live with the little HotSync icon hanging out on my
taskbar. However, I would suggest e-mailing the author of the program (I
forget his name) and let him know what you found as well as what you're
running when the GPF's come out to play.
