Yup.  The records are packed in memory.

Mine's been fine for four months or so.  Some people have cracked their and
some have scratched theirs.  I believe (and I'm sure someone will speak up
if I'm wrong) that USR will fix broken Pilots for $100 for out-of or
non-warranty repairs.

The appointments have a 5 minute resolution, so 9:05,9:15,9:20,9:10, etc.

Yes.  There's a 4K limit to them, though.
