Pilot: Digitizer Drift - What 3Com told me AND WORKED! (For me anyway)
I also had the digitizer drift when I had my Pro. I knew I was getting the
upgrade (PIII) in a couple weeks, so I figured, what the hell, maybe it's a
loose memory board and wasn;t about to re-load my Pro and then again re-load
with PIII. So I waited... And when my PIII upgrade came in, I still had the
problem. So I called 3Com. Here's what they suggested (And worked for me so
NOTE: You will loose everything after diong the following procedure, but it
DID fix the digitizer drift problem for me!
Open the memory door and re-seat the memory board (Take out and insert).
This to make 100% sure it is seated correctly.
Turn PIlot on and make sure it turns on. WHen it does, take out the
batteries and reset TWICE (on the back that is).
Put the batteries back in and re-load your pilot.
That's all there is to it! I am telling you, it might sound funky, but I
swear I had the problem, and I swear I do not anymore! Hey... It's worth a
try! Sure beats the hell out of sending it back right?
