RE: Pilot: AportisDoc vs TealDoc?

They sent some mail a while ago explaining their problems.
One part was wrong technology choice (Java!), and another
was their lead programmer had a motorcycle accident.

Otoh, it seems they could've had at least -some-
incremental releases. They're probably trying to write
the be-all and end-all of Doc (and BrainForest) apps, but
in doing so they have an incredibly long lead time. I
think most of us would've been happier if they'd thrown
us a bone in the form of a new feature or two, now and
again along the way. They already had Doc+ for document
creation on the Pilot ... unless that wasn't part of their
deal with Rick Bram. And adding simple links (not even
to any "Find" target on the system ... just to other
Doc files ... or even w/in the same Doc file) would've
been a nice incremental addition.

As it is, TealPoint is showing them up and soon they'll
have lost all the folk (like me) who have some loyalty to
the original.

I would -love- to be able to compose HTML docunents on the
Pilot. Links, bold, tables, etc.
