[RCSE] Finnishing wings

Just received my first real open class sailplane. It's an Ed Whyte Sapphire 
and I'll add that it is a really nice kit. The question is, what is the best 
way to finish the wings? I'm good at iron on covering, haven't had any 
experience with obeechi and paint. Any and all ideas appreciated. Thanks, Rich
