[RCSE] Cockpit - Opinion

I can only talk about what I know. I don?t own a Cockpit, but I will buy one
if I need another transmitter.

At the AMA (IMS) show I elbowed my way to the Multiplex booth. Karlton was
mobbed and the German guy was busy. I looked at the Cockpit which was hooked
up to a PC. With no instruction whatsoever, I poked around the screens and
came to the conclusion that on a 10 scale, programming my Infinity 660 is
about a 4 and the Cockpit a 9.5! Everything I would want to do I figured out
on the spot. Compare that to the pleas for programming assistance we see
regularly on the RCSE.

Plus, it gets good reviews, it?s light and finally, it?s attractive. That
might not count for much, but it counts for something. Most of the modern
Japanese transmitters look like a deranged Transformer designer got into R/C!
Why? Their cars look pretty good. One of the mysteries of the modern
world, I guess.
