I thought since I was involved in some of the recent Vendor Bashing I should
give equal time for some Vendor Praising.  You might remember recently, me
posting a request for information on locating a canopy for an ASW 27 that a
friend of mine had given me.  One of the suggestions given to me, was to
contact Robin Lehman at Sailplanes Unlimited.  I did just that and I am now
the proud owner of a nice new canopy.  I know this does not sound like much,
but Robin no longer sells the Krause version of this plane.  He still went
to the effort to check with Krause and also with Gerasis so as to determine
that the Gerasis canopy might fit.  He did all of this for a customer who
had never purchased anything from him in the past and for the whole sum
total of $30 and that included the shipping.  BTW, the canopy fits like a
well tailored suit.  My hat is off to the fine service I received from
Robin.  I am sure when it is time to move  up to a bigger cooler Scale
Glider that Robin will be the first place I go looking.
