Re: [RCSE] Yet another Zagi 400 question
Brett,
Your kit should have come with several squares of Velcro for use in holding
down the canopy. Two pieces are used on each side at the rear. The third
piece is used at the front. The instructions should give you some idea
about where to place these pieces of Velcro. A common experience is that a
crash will cause the front of the battery tray to break off right at the
front of the battery. If such a break should occur, you are better off
using two pieces of Velcro on the sides of the tray near the front to
replace the single piece of Velcro on the front of the tray.
Also, most everyone uses a long strip of Velcro on the battery pack to hold
it in place on the battery tray. Without the strip of Velcro, even a minor
crash will catapult the battery pack out of the plane taking wires and
possibly speed controller with it. You ask, how do I know?
Regards,
Dick
