Re: [RCSE] Vendor Praising

I have to add a comment in here...

I just had a extremely pleasant first time experience with Alberto at http://www.hobbyclub.com

He's been displaying some cool stuff on his web site and one just caught my eye the other day.  I sent him an email asking if he had the product I was interested in stock, and he confirmed by email promptly that it was.  I ordered directly from his secure web site, and then emailed him again and asked him to keep in touch as my order progressed.  I also warned him how rough the shipping carriers have been to me lately.  (A bad experience I had a few months ago that I didn't share here).  Alberto said he would pack it personally for me, again, a prompt reply in email.  He emailed me again on Saturday that it had shipped, and I received it yesterday!  8-)

Man o man did he pack this plane.  I am lucky he did such a nice job too, the box containing the V tail stab looks like a door shut on it, but do to the internal packing, not a scratch.  The big box containing everything else he hot glued a corrugated cardboard frame, perfectly packed.  Alberto went out of his way to make sure I would get my product safe and sound, and I can't say enough important that is when you are buying these types of models.

What did I buy, very cool, an Amethyst F3J, 3.41m wingspan, MH32 airfoil, wt:1500grs (52.6 oz)  Very similar looking to the Agate, (which I am currently flying), probably the same fuse and stab mold, but sports an MH32 with a slightly different planform instead of a 7037 like the Agate, and has those extremely light wingtips.

Thanks again, Alberto!

P.S.  Ya, Grandpa, the fuse has that big booty like the Agate.  8-)
