[RCSE] Cheapest Practical Outfit For Club Training

I propose that the cheapest and most practical outfit for club training on a
flat field is as follows:

1. Zagi THL
2. Hitec Focus 3 FM with Hitec 555 Rx and two medium hitec servos.
3. Dry cells.

The zagi is relatively compact and therefore not a hassle to transport. It
is supposed to be durable (I've never seen one) and it will get the student
through all the orientation problems and basic control. (Is it easy to fly,
though?). I could also see the DAW TG-3 in this role, but it is less
compact.

The Hitec 555 Rx rather than the Feather.

The dry cells: Bring your own. No charger hassles.

This whole rig could be stuffed in a box and just brought out when a newbie
turns up.

With membership of the AMA ($48) and our club ($30) it can all be done for
$250.

All opinions gratefully received,
