Hi
If you say that 250 ma hr NiCd's give you the flight time you need.
Then you need 250 ma hr NiMH's batteries too. If you need so many
ma hr with one type of battery you will need the same ma hr with
any other battery. The energy density goes up with the battery type,
low to higher is: NiCd, NiMH, & Lithium Ion. So you save weight with
the higher density batteries. But you still have to have the same capacity
in ma hr for the same flying time.
